Employment Process: Employment rights and benefits

  • The nature of employment with SmartWork will be permanent
  • Remuneration will be paid on a weekly/monthly basis alongside all approved HMRC-compliant expenses
  • SmartWork employees are entitled to the minimum statutory entitlement of annual leave (currently 28 days inclusive of bank holidays)
  • The usual place of work for SmartWork employees will be their Home Address and they will also be required to work at respective client locations as appropriate
  • SmartWork employees will be entitled to Statutory Sick Pay
  • SmartWork employees will be entitled to Statutory Maternity / Paternity / Adoption Pay
  • SmartWork employees will receive Personal Accident Insurance of up to 2 x minimum wage salary
  • On completion of each assignment, SmartWork employees will be allowed one week’s paid bench time for job search activities
  • Disciplinary, Statutory Grievance, and Notice of Termination will apply
